The Texas Association for Healthcare Quality invites you to take part in a legacy of education for quality professionals.

We invite you to become an active sponsor of the Texas Association for Healthcare Quality.  Partnering with us offers a unique opportunity to promote excellence and professionalism in healthcare. 

At TAHQ, we support the advancement of theory, policy, and practice of quality.  In 2010 we offered educational opportunities to more than 200 quality professionals throughout Texas. Our efforts generated more than 1,850 continuing education credits for Texans promoting patient safety and quality of care.

In 2010 Texas led the nation in the number of healthcare professionals earning a CPHQ.  Over 60 quality professionals participated in TAHQ’s CPHQ Review Courses.  Fifty Texans passed the exam and earned the distinction of “Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality”. 

In October, 131 quality professionals representing 67different healthcare organizations attended the TAHQ Annual Conference in Dallas capitalizing on the opportunity to advance their knowledge and network with colleagues.  These attendees represent the continuum of care with participation from acute care, behavioral health, home care, long-term care and rehabilitation organizations.

Opportunities for Quality Advocates

• General Gifts - Unrestricted gifts that are placed in the General Fund.
• Restricted Gifts- Donations may be restricted for a specific educational program.
• Matched Giving - Donors can often double or triple a contribution with an employer-matching gift.  Donors should check with their employer and ask for the company’s matched gift form and send the completed form with the contribution to the TAHQ office.
• In-kind Gifts - Donations of in-kind services may also be given. Donors may check with the TAHQ office regarding acceptance of services.

As a non-profit organization, TAHQ accepts donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations to fund its programs and activities. Donations may be given in honor or memory of someone. TAHQ is recognized as a charitable organization under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code allowing for tax-deductible monetary or in-kind gifts from contributors. TAHQ, with the support of its donors, can be the leading force in the advancement of healthcare quality in Texas
