TAHQ Strategic Goals - 2008:

1. Enhance Member Services
   1. Enhance Member Services
      1. Develop a State Speakers Bureau
      2. Consult with IT professionals on web development and emerging technologies
      3. Create a Yellow Pages of members to make a database of professionals
      4. Develop a team to come up with strategies on enhancing member incentives/member needs assessments
      5. Collaborate with NAHQ for leadership development
   2. Welcome and Integrate New Members
      1. Develop a transition program for new Board members so they can be more quickly brought up to speed
      2. Offer new members orientation at the Annual Conference
      3. Offer a new member “buddies” program
   3. Develop Diverse Programs Responsive to Membership Needs
      1. Develop leveling for all conferences where concurrent sessions are held
      2. Develop a program calendar
      3. Look into having workshops, etc. on State and Federal licensing agencies reporting needs
      4. Have opportunities to separate breakouts for different fields
      5. Add fun/atmosphere to meetings to encourage registration
      6. Teach workshops on how to streamline reporting processes
      7. Create diverse technology for education delivery (audio conference)

      1. Develop policies and procedures for each person’s role to increase communication and make us a higher performing organization
      2. Continue to educate our Board on responsibilities, competencies

      2. Advertise tax benefits of donating to a 501(c)3 organization
